Rigid box (cardboard box) is made by cover paper / cardboard / lining paper, because it is rigid, it is more resistant than the rest of the box and it looks more luxurious. It is relatively expensive traditionally, with the advance of production technique, some rigid box can be done automatically by machine, which results in reduction in cost. This attracts more and more customer to adopt rigid box as packaging.
